Guidelines for behavior in the Computer Lab are an extension of the library's Rules of Behavior, which apply to all parts of the library, are posted in several places throughout the building, and are included in the library's Public Policies Manual.

Library Rules of Behavior state:

"Patrons of Jervis Public Library have the right to use library materials and services without being disturbed or impeded by others.... All patrons are expected to observe and respect the rights of other library users and staff."

• No socializing--keep conversation to an absolute minimum.


• Keep to your own work station.


• Respect the privacy of others.
